Alerts
Get told when something needs you: on Discord, in your browser, or as a sound in the game client. An alert only tells you; to act on its own, use a rule.
Set up Discord
- In Discord, open the channel settings, then Integrations → Webhooks → New Webhook.
- Copy the webhook URL.
- In Settings → Notifications, click Add a webhook, paste it, then Test.
Write an alert
An alert watches for one of three things:
| Kind | Example |
|---|---|
| An event | death, a client going silent, a level up |
| A condition | stamina below 16 hours, a skulled player in view |
| A custom function | your own check, for example supplies below 20% |
Pick the channels, whether to ping you, and a cooldown so a repeating alert does not flood the channel. Quiet hours hold back alerts without a ping.
Pictures with alerts
When an alert fires, the client sends screenshots faster for two minutes, and the alert keeps the first fresh one. So "a skulled player in view" comes with a picture of now, not of a minute ago.
